| Description: | Works with adolescents in a structured day (classroom setting) program, working one on one with the client or in groups. |
| Duties: | Receives client care assignment from the Program Manager and responds appropriately to each client according to their treatment plan. Will write clinical notes.
Monitors client status, documents and/or reports findings to appropriate staff.
Teaches, demonstrates and monitors ADL’s, personal hygiene, orderliness of environment and client safety.
Serves as client advocate; establishes rapport; is aware of and respects the rights and dignity of all clients.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe physical environment according to established guidelines.
Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner.
Must be able to physically restrain and implement a therapeutic hold in accordance with agency policy and procedure.
Possesses basic knowledge of group dynamics and can effectively facilitate a community, support or task group.
Has completed all required training and demonstrates a proficiency in all areas of the position.
Is given specific area(s) of responsibility as designated by the Program Manager.
Maintains sensitivity to cultural differences with client population.

| Qualifications: | Minimum requirement includes a BA/BS degree in the human services discipline from an accredited college and two years experience in the field post graduation. |
